Overwhelmed by choice?

Here’s a fact for you…
We have lots of different golf balls available in the pro shop, from plain white ones to bright colourful ones.
That's why can understand if you’re overwhelmed by choice when picking out which one to play with.
You’ll be forgiven if you don’t know much about golf balls and they all look very similar to you. But the truth is different brands have multiple ball products that all serve different purposes, each with a certain kind of golfer in mind.
Finding the right golf ball is all about what feels good for you, and what gives you the confidence to commit to your shot.
Today we want to outline three different ways you may want to go about buying new golf balls. Based on your ability, based on price, and based on colour and visual tech.
Golfing Ability
When we discuss ability, it’s hard not to get grouped into one of two camps:
Are you a good golfer or a bad golfer?
The fact is we all want to improve, so we’re giving two recommendations based on handicap to give you an understanding of which ball will be most appropriate to your game.
If you’re a single-figure handicap player, you’ll want to get the most out of your equipment. Being a consistent ball-striker, you’ll want to play with a low spin golf ball to give you the most distance on your drives.

Srixon Z-Star XV golf balls
This is one of Srixon’s most impressive ball offerings to date. This ball is ideal for low-handicap players that want full control of shaping their shots. The FastLayer DG Core will have you getting excellent feel and spin on your shots, and the 338 Speed Dimple pattern offers less drag and more lift on your ball flight for further distance.
Srixon Soft Feel golf balls
If you play off a handicap of 10+, don’t worry, Srixon has just the ball to help you cut it down. The Soft Feel is, just as it sounds, an incredibly soft-feeling golf ball. With Srixon’s FastLayer Core, this ball compresses on impact to give you excellent distance on your strikes. A 2-piece ionomer cover also gives you great feel on your wedge shots.

Dozen Balls Price
As we all know, golf is an expensive sport, so you’ll really want to make sure you’re investing in the right golf balls.

If you want to play with the best balls Srixon has to offer, the Z-Star balls are certainly worth the cost.
This is one of Srixon’s flagship golf balls and one that provides an excellent all-round golf experience. Designed to give you great feel around the greens and better accuracy on your shots, this ball is very popular both on tour and with amateur players alike.
Should you be wanting to play to a specific budget, the UltiSoft is an excellent alternative. This ball is all about giving you exceptional feel around the greens.
The FastLayer Core makes it a joy to strike, and the external thin cover pleasantly grips to the grooves on your club to give you the most out of your strike.

Appearance
As we’ve hinted at in the previous section, you can get all kinds of golf balls nowadays, including those that have visual tech and alignment aid elements to help you perform better.

Srixon makes incredibly fun golf balls with all kinds of different colours and styles. The Q-Star Tour Divide balls have a very unique highly-visible dual-colour contrast system that consists of two opposite colours each covering half of the ball. It makes for a very eye-catching design that’s a lot of fun, and will breathe some new life into your game.
