Such a perfect day...
The inevitable has finally happened! Nearly man, Jason Day, has finally become a Major champion with his three-shot victory at Whistling Straits - and in what fine style he did it, too. Day finished with a 67 to record a 20-under-par total at the USPGA, in the process breaking the record for the lowest total score at one of golf's big four.
One of Day's biggest attributes week-in, week-out is his driving ability. Not only is he deceivingly long off the tee, but he finds the fairway with comparative ease. Take last week for example; Day drove the ball an average of 307 yards and found the fairway 73% of the time. Just think how much easier this game would be if we could have that sort of distance-accuracy ratio.
We can help you achieve gains in the driving department, whether this be through coaching or fitting. Think about the difference a simple change could make to your game: averaging an extra 15 yards off the tee means that you could have 15 yards less left in to each green; the equivalent to one or two clubs. PING G30 driver
With its simple forgiveness and playability, many of you will have found success using PING G driver models in the past and the G30 moves performance forward once again. Turbulators on the crown improve airflow when swinging to help the club move faster and increase ball speeds. Impressively, PING engineers have offered further adjustability without changing the hosel size - five loft settings should help us to find your perfect setup. Even more options are provided thanks to two different head options. As well as a standard design, an SF Tec head will help those who struggle with a slice. Weighting in the heel should straighten out the ball flight without losing a neutral setup at address.
