Hi everyone,

A short one from me today but something new and exciting next week! The good weather continues and the course is shaping up beautifully. The greenkeepers have been able to get the heavy machinery to the paths as the ground has hardened and they've done a great job to sort them in under a week! I think this is exactly what we needed and I know the plans are to continue the updating of the paths to cope with the wet winter conditions. Therefore we should all be able to play in winters to come without mud up to our ankles! That's the plan anyway.

The new course guide has arrived! This incorporates a shortened version of some of my tips that you have all been enjoying over the weeks and very detailed yardages. Whether you use a yardage device or not this is something we should all have when playing Chestfield. Pop into the shop before you next go out to play and have a look for yourself.

Our grip offers continue and as we are seeing more and more people due to trolleys being back on, we are being kept very busy getting your clubs renewed!! If you haven't yet, and your grips are getting that little bit slippery, then come and see us now.
