Success Stories
Well it's been quite a month. Firstly, we've had two hole-in-ones. Billy Kohler made the first after a par three irons lesson with Simon and then a week later John Lane used his driver to get his first ever hole-in-one at the eighth! And, you guessed it, he'd had a lesson from Simon on the previous Friday! Simon was completely gutted that he didn't get his hat-trick the following week but I think it was a fair effort. Well done to both of you guys - complete proof that you get out if you put in!
Autumn Meeting
We also had a great fight for the Autumn Meeting with some brilliant scoring - Richard 'the ATM' Miles narrowly edging out Phil Veness on the Saturday with a nett 65 and Andy Young just pipping the big game specialist Nick Gladstone with a 66 on Sunday. However, Nick, as ever, proved to be the class act and two great scores giving him the overall Meeting and not for the first time. Well done Nick - time to change those regular shafts!!
Christmas Draw
The weather is slowly turning to winter but it is fighting hard. We've had some rain but also some incredible temperatures that has elongated the lovely summer we've had. However, believe it or not, it's just nine weeks or so to Christmas!! I bet you're all glad I've mentioned that aren't you.
That's why we've now started the Christmas Draw which you all know and love!! This year numbers will be £5 each so there will be less tickets sold but the same big numbers of prizes. I think it will mean a wider share out of prizes so get your favourite numbers quickly so you're not disappointed. The sheet is in the shop and I'll be round at the weekends.

We are just about to start a SALE on shirts and footwear. We will be offering at least 30% OFF this year's Nike shirts in stock and 30% OFF all moulded sole shoes in stock. Come in while the weather's still good and make the most of the bargains!
Shop News
We are just about to receive some lambswool sweaters, which can have the Chestfield logo embroidered on the chest or arm. If you are interested in any items for yourself or for presents please let me know and we can work around your requirements. These will be in the shop very soon anyway.
Junior Coaching
We are doing a Junior Golf Camp next Wednesday, 29 October. All juniors are welcome to join Simon and Stevie for five hours of tuition and fun, including lunch. The cost is £30 per junior.
