If you’ve played golf over the festive period you’ll have noticed that the ground is wetter and softer at this time of year. With this in mind, here’s a polite notice asking you to all do your bit when out on the course.

We all want smoother greens and better fairways
Prominent pitch marks and deep divots are a common sight at many courses over the winter, but they are both things that you can help us to overcome. Repairing any pitch marks you see on the green and replacing fairway divots – whether they’re yours or not – will go a long way to keeping our course in the best condition possible ready for spring.

An unrepaired pitch mark left for two hours can take up to two months to recover...we'll leave that thought with you.

The New Year is upon us, which gives you the chance to do something different and start afresh with your game. Regardless of how 2017 went on the course, you’ll want to improve over the next 12 months and this is something we can certainly help you to achieve.

For example, if one of your goals was to get your handicap down then the best way to go about this is to identify the weakest parts of your game and try to improve them through a series of lessons.
