Watch the most skilled golfers on the planet battle it out and you appreciate there are many ways to play consistently excellent golf. But there's one attribute every single player in the field possesses: balance. You simply never see a tour pro falling off the shot.

Though we don't always realise it, poor balance is behind a host of poor swing traits. A bent left arm, for example, often accompanies a sway to stop you falling too far behind the ball. In contrast to the pros, many club golfers exhibit poor balance, and their consistency suffers as a result. Improve your balance, and your swing instantly becomes more repeatable and efficient.
