Hi everyone,
Well it's been a very busy and interesting week. It would seem that the rapidly approaching 'golf dinner-bell', The Masters, has brought lots of people out for the first time for a while. I spent a lot of the last week doing re-grips as those dusty clubs suddenly saw light for the first time in a while. Remember, I am still offering a FREE grip for your 7 iron and you can get large discounts for bulk re-gripping so come in soon.
Clearly others have been enjoying some great golfing weather on the golf course. At the weekend Mark Buckingham continued some good form to win the E.K. Hospice Cup with an excellent 42 points narrowly pipping our Italian Stallion, Luigi DeSiano, who emerged from his hibernation to shoot 40 points. However, these excellent scores pale into insignificance next to what occurred in the Midweek Cup last week. Recently the Border Force joined the club but it is very clear that they haven't been doing their job very well as it would seem a bunch of Mexicans have sneaked their way in. With a nett 60 you would expect to walk away with the honours comfortably most weeks, especially if you were one of the Bee Gees - stand up Mr David Gibb, but not last week. Eclipsing that score with a nett 55 was his fellow Border Force accomplice, Chris Knight. Unbelievable scoring, and that was also reflected in Division 1 as James Mantle, someone who I have worked with recently (and who hits a great ball) started to show what he can do with a gross 69 off 4. Watch him - he's good! Amazing scoring by everyone concerned. Keep it up!
Talking of The Masters my sweep is filling up rapidly. I only have 60 places to fill so if you'd like a chance to win a £200 prize pop in and see me soon.
On top of grips I also have a huge sale on last year's summer shoes as well as the new line of Skechers in stock. You can get up to 50% OFF lots of shoes in the shop right now. My Callaway stock has also started to arrive. Just to give you some ideas of how competitive I am - my price for the XR 16 driver is £239 and the new Epic driver (which is the hottest club around at the moment) is £429 in either head. I am available for fittings now so come in and see the range in the shop.
Just a short one this week as I'm still trying to get over a nett 55 (just joking Chris), but more next week. Remember to come in and see me soon!

Thank you for reading, have a great week everyone! |
