With Christmas nearly upon us we tend to switch our minds off golf as present buying and family visits take priority. However, the good news for those of us who long for the long warmer days is that they are getting closer and closer.

Therefore this is the perfect time to be thinking about your preparations for the coming season. Many of you have already visited me in my new swing studio and booked up for lessons, but I have plenty of room for more. Remember you can have a FREE 15 minute session at any time so you just need to pop in or phone me. I have to admit to being the biggest user of my indoor swing room and it clearly hasn't done me any harm. On Friday I joined the Saints and Sinners and played very nicely for a 65 and 38 points. Now, I thought that would be pretty competitive but how wrong could I be? Basically if your score started with a 3 you needn't worry too much as low 40s only got a look in. Step forward Mr Roger Martin who cleaned up with 45 points! An amazing score that blew the field away. Welcome to the Saints and Sinners then!! I must say a big thank you to their Captain Peter who invited me and I have to commend him and everyone involved on a very enjoyable day.
