From time to time we like to share some coaching tips through our newsletters in an effort to help you lower your scores. This week you'll see we're offering some advice on how to effectively escape wet sand - which is somewhat topical, unfortunately.
Being able to adjust to the wintry conditions is a real skill, whether that's playing the ball a little further back in your stance to keep the ball underneath the wind, or adjusting your technique to escape wet sand (below) - so we hope you find these articles useful.
Of course, some one-on-one coaching may be what you need, as we appreciate that putting these tips into practice isn't always that easy, even if they make perfect sense.
We hope you're enjoying your golf no matter what the weather is throwing at you, but do come and see us, or make an enquiry here, if you'd like some assistance. In the meantime, give the tip below a try and next time you end up bunkered in the wet sand, you might not get such a sinking feeling.
This week we have been unpacking and displaying all of the new 2016 PING stock. The new G series drivers, fairways, hybrids, Crossovers and irons have arrived to take over from the G30 range and to run alongside the current and incredibly popular i and GMax ranges.
Briefly summed up, the drivers continue PING's heritage of very forgiving clubs, but this new model pushes their development of distance by improving aerodynamics to make the club faster and therefore longer. The irons are also about speed, not aerodynamics, but ball speed off the clubface. PING's new Cor-Eye face technology allows for a thinner, harder face that provides explosive impact qualities.
Not only does the G iron offer distance and forgiveness, it's as good a looking Game Improvement iron as you'll ever see. Good looks are what the fairways have in abundance. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I defy anybody to say they don't think this fairway looks awesome! We of course have all these clubs in demo models, so come and have a play.
